Why We’re a Direct Patient-Care Practice—And What That Means for You

At Menopause Solutions, we use a direct patient care model to give you more time, attention, and personalized care—something traditional insurance-based practices often lack.

At Menopause Solutions, we’ve chosen a different kind of model—direct patient care—because we believe your health deserves time, attention, and a personalized approach that traditional insurance-based practices often can’t provide. But what exactly does “direct patient care” mean, and how does it benefit you?

What Is Direct Patient Care?

Direct patient care (DPC) means that we work directly with you, not through an insurance company. You pay for your visits and services out of pocket, and we provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement (note: Medicare/Medicaid filing is not permitted). This model allows us to cut through red tape and spend more quality time with each patient. It also means no rushed appointments, no billing confusion, and no third-party interference in your care plan.

Why It Matters for Your Health

Here’s how this model works to your advantage:

Longer Appointments

We schedule ample time for every visit. Whether you’re here for menopause care, hormone therapy, sexual health, or a well-woman exam, you’ll never feel rushed. You’ll have time to ask questions, talk about your health goals, and truly feel heard.

Truly Personalized Care

Dr. Elaine Eustis and Nurse Practitioner Rhonda Leach bring years of specialized experience in gynecology, menopause management, and women’s health. By removing insurance limitations, we can focus solely on what’s best for you—not what’s covered.

Transparency & Flexibility

You’ll know the cost of your visit upfront—no hidden fees, no surprise bills. We also offer comprehensive, same-day services when needed and provide superbills for reimbursement.

Continuity & Trust

Because we’re not bound by insurance networks, we build long-term relationships with our patients. Many women refer their sisters, mothers, and friends because they trust the care we provide.

Empowering Women at Every Stage

Whether you're navigating hot flashes, weight changes, low libido, or simply want a provider who understands this stage of life, our Mount Pleasant, SC team is here for you. At Menopause Solutions, you’re not just another chart—you’re a whole person. And that’s how we treat you.
